+Hello and welcome to my self-hosted gitea instace.
+
+For a variety of reasons I am interested in self hosting my code and use it for primary development and only mirror to github for discoverability.
+
+I started in August 2025 and am on a journey of sorts with self hosting. I expect to move over more repos from my [github account](https://github.com/1jamesthompson1).
+
+For now you can just find some uni work. Funnily enough the way I discovered gitea was through looking for a way to have a unlisted repo in github.
